Costa Rica schedules naturalisation exams for 15 November
Venues for session 03-2026 are due to be published on 6 November. Registration closed on 4 October.
Costa Rica’s Education Ministry has published the schedule for naturalisation examination session 03-2026, with exams on 15 November. Venues in Quepos, Guápiles, Liberia and San José Central are due to be announced on 6 November. Candidates should check the Ministry’s final arrangements for the examination times.[1][2]
Registration ran from 28 September to 4 October and is closed. Candidates must check their own venue and bring original, valid identification. Entry is barred more than 30 minutes after an exam starts; the pass mark is 70 for each subject. Passing is one naturalisation requirement, not an automatic citizenship grant. The official page does not identify when the schedule was first published.[1][2]
