Denmark decides to resubmit L98 naturalisation bill; other cases remain on hold

The 5 October notice distinguishes applicants listed in the lapsed bill from other naturalisation cases.

Denmark · Specified naturalisation cases to be reassessed

Denmark’s Ministry of Immigration and Integration said on 5 October that naturalisation bill L98, which lapsed when an election was called, would be resubmitted. Listed applicants will be notified and reassessed. Certain Denmark-born stateless people and specified parentage cases would also be included.[1]

Applications outside L98 still await clarification of naturalisation conditions. This is neither a general restart of all cases nor a citizenship grant: resubmission, reassessment and final legislation remain distinct stages.[1]
