Hungary updates 2027 EU Blue Card salary guidance
The applicable 2027 amount also covers applications started in 2026 but decided in 2027.
Hungary’s immigration authority said in a notice updated on 3 November that the standard minimum monthly pay for EU Blue Cards in 2027 is HUF 1,091,244. The lower statutory category under section 3(2) of NGM Regulation 44/2011 is HUF 872,995.[1]
The applicable threshold covers third-country nationals whose Blue Cards are valid in 2027. It also applies to issue or extension cases started in 2026 but decided in 2027. Additional wage-related payments count only where payment and contributions are predictable and subsequently verifiable.[1]
