Isle of Man sponsor policy applies to applications from 2 November
The policy covers sponsorship for Global Business Mobility, Isle of Man Student and Tier 5 routes.
Treasury policy GC2026/0015 applies to new and renewal sponsor-licence applications made on or after 2 November 2026, covering Global Business Mobility, Isle of Man Student and Tier 5 routes. This is the application stage specified in the document dated 11 May, not a newly issued November instrument.[1]
It replaces GC2025/0038. Tier 4 and Tier 5 sponsor licences, Certificates of Sponsorship and Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies issued before 8 April 2026 remain valid until their respective expiry dates. These sponsorship arrangements do not automatically grant an individual entry or residence permission.[1]
