Italy publishes 2027 work-quota instructions and pre-completion timetable
Joint Circular 7185 sets quotas, pre-completion and category-specific submission dates; pre-completion is not submission.
Italy’s Joint Circular 7185 of 1 October sets out 2027 allocations: 76,200 non-seasonal employees, 89,000 seasonal workers and 650 self-employed workers. Work-authorisation applications subject to the scheduled submission dates may be pre-completed in ALI from 23 October to 7 December. Pre-completion is neither submission nor approval.[1][2]
Submission opens on 12 January 2027 for seasonal agriculture, 9 February for seasonal tourism, 16 February for non-seasonal employment and 18 February for family care. Applications remain possible until 31 December 2027, subject to available quotas.[1][2]
