Moldova pauses specified urgent residence-card applications from 2 to 12 November
The new migration information system affects specified card-processing services, not every residence application.
A Romanian-language notice dated 30 October on Moldova’s migration authority website confirms that applications for same-day, 1-working-day and 5-working-day residence-card processing are suspended from 2 to 12 November while a new migration information system is introduced.[1]
During this period, cards for EU citizens and foreign nationals holding temporary residence for work will be issued within 10 working days. A separate interruption on 29–30 October covered specified residence-card, travel-document and address-registration applications. The notice does not announce a blanket suspension of all residence applications throughout 2–12 November.[1]
