US adjusts specified H.R. 1 immigration fees for FY 2027
Initial EAD, TPS and parole charges have distinct scope; the parole fee turns on the actual grant, not the request date.
USCIS published its FY 2027 adjustments to specified H.R. 1 immigration fees on 1 October. The notice specifies effect from 16 October and rejection of covered filings postmarked on or after that date without the correct fee.[1]
The H.R. 1 fee for covered initial asylum, parole and Temporary Protected Status EADs rises from US$560 to US$570, including applicable categories (c)(8), (c)(11) and (a)(12)/(c)(19). The statutory I-821 initial TPS registration fee rises from US$510 to US$520.[1][3]
A separate DHS notice published that day raises the statutory immigration-parole fee from US$1,020 to US$1,050 for parole actually granted and effectuated from 16 October, regardless of the underlying request date, subject to statutory exceptions. This is not a uniform filing fee for every Form I-131 application.[2]
The EAD and parole amounts are H.R. 1 statutory charges. Other applicable fees may be additional; these are not necessarily total application costs or a uniform increase.[2][3]
