Argentina outlines investment citizenship plans for Q4 intake
The 2 October announcement sets out 2 proposed funding options, without establishing an actual opening date.
Argentina’s Economy Ministry announced investment-citizenship plans on 2 October, targeting applications during Q4 2026. The proposed options are a non-refundable US$350,000 Treasury contribution or a US$800,000 government bond created for the programme.[1]
Applicants face identity, source-of-funds, risk and immigration-history checks. The programme agency recommends cases to the National Migration Directorate for approval or refusal. The quarterly timetable does not establish that intake is already open; an exact opening date and complete implementing rules were not verified.[1]
