Czech President signs foreign nationals’ entry and residence law

The parliamentary record confirms signature and delivery on 4 November; promulgation and commencement dates remain unverified.

Czechia · President has signed

The Czech Chamber of Deputies’ history for entry and residence bill 144 records presidential signature on 4 November 2026 and delivery of the decision to the Chamber that day. The Senate passed the bill on 21 October, and it was sent to the President on 27 October.[1]

Presidential signature is a further legislative stage after referral. The parliamentary record does not provide promulgation or commencement dates, so it does not establish that new residence conditions or procedures already apply.[1]
