SIRI announced on 13 October 2026 that the collective-agreement pay scheme will take effect on 1 January 2027. Applicants must be nationals of one of the specified 16 countries and have a job covered by a collective agreement, paying at least DKK 322,000 annually at the 2026 level. Employers must first be certified. The quoted amount is not a confirmed nominal threshold for 2027.[1]

SIRI expects employer-certification applications to open in early December, with processing no earlier than 1 January. Application pages and further details are still to follow. The bill adopted on 3 September also imposes full-time employment and employer conditions, including at least 10 full-time employees in Denmark. These are not all eligibility conditions or a guarantee of approval. The route remains at the preparation stage.[1][2]
