St Kitts clarifies the conditions for ECCIRA implementation
A 28 September CIU briefing identifies operational readiness and an agreed, announced commencement date as prerequisites.
In a briefing published on 28 September 2026, the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Unit said the regional framework under the Eastern Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Regulatory Authority would take effect only after the authority is operational and all participating member states have formally agreed and communicated a commencement date.[1]
The chairman urged agents to use officially confirmed information rather than speculation about measures still under consideration. The briefing supplies no commencement date or transitional arrangements and does not establish that a particular regional requirement already applies to an individual application.[1]
