Sweden plans its next citizenship society test for April–May 2027

The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) says its next citizenship test on Swedish society is planned for April–May 2027. The exact date and locations remain to be announced. This is planning for the next sitting, not an opening of registration.[1]
UHR’s registration page remains closed. Registration is available only to people referred by the Migration Agency, and a new registration will be needed when another sitting opens. The agency may accept recognised qualifications as an alternative way of demonstrating society knowledge.[1][2]
The plan concerns the society test, not a new introduction date for the Swedish-language test. The FAQ was last updated on 22 October but does not identify when this particular plan was first announced.[1]
