Grenada: the interview
An agent helps submit the application, while each relevant person prepares for their own interview. Begin with the participant list, language preference and the documents already filed.

Confirm the participants individually
Investment Migration Agency Grenada’s current application process includes a mandatory interview, and its FAQ describes an online interview.[1][2] Circular No. 9 of 2023 identifies the main applicant, spouse, sponsor and dependants aged 17 or over for the interview application form.[3] Preparation should therefore extend beyond the principal applicant.
The current fee table expressly includes non-applicant spouses and sponsors in its interview-fee provisions.[1] If a relative provides the funds, or a spouse is not applying for citizenship, explain that to the handling agent. Ask for confirmation of the requirement, contact details and applicable charge for each person.
Identify the preferred language early
Circular No. 9 asks participants to state their preferred interview language and describes an emailed questionnaire link. It also specifies that the intended recipient must answer personally.[3] Use this information to prepare early, while following the current case instructions for access, deadlines and technical requirements.
Check each participant’s email address, telephone number and language preference. Confirm an unexpected link through the agent’s established contact channel before proceeding. Review the equipment, connection and timing specified in the notice. If language assistance is needed, establish the permitted method in advance rather than having someone answer on the participant’s behalf.
Understand the application in your own words
IMA states that submitted information is examined and verified through due diligence, with the final decision resting with the responsible Minister.[1] A sensible preparation exercise is to review the places the participant has lived, their work, family relationships and the origin and movement of the application funds.
Those are editorial review prompts, not an official question bank. In a hypothetical application funded by a parent, the parent and adult child could each check the gift documents, payment records and their respective roles. The parent should understand the support actually provided, and the child should understand the material submitted. Their experiences differ; rehearsing identical accounts is neither necessary nor helpful.
Report changes through the proper channel
If employment, address or identity documents change after submission, inform the agent and establish whether additional material is needed. Keep evidence supporting any correction to an error in the file. If a date cannot be recalled during the interview, explain that it needs checking instead of guessing to match a remembered document.
Before the interview, each participant can keep a short record of the notification, identity-check instructions, language preference, reported changes and unanswered procedural questions. It is a preparation aid, not a script for someone else to deliver. After the interview, continue following the application through the handling agent; completing the interview does not itself establish approval of citizenship.
